Almost all the Windows users have an idea about what a registry cleaner is. You are more than right if you know that a registry cleaner will repair your Windows OS errors. Most computer’s users with previous experience with such programs under Windows Vista and XP know that they will boost the OS performance. But what happens under Windows 7 ? Here Windows 7 registry cleaner review you will find good infos about Windows 7 Registry Cleaners.

Windows 7 is a brand new operating system and a series of regular home users didn’t have the time to test it properly in order to find for themselves the answer to a normal question: “Are Windows 7 Registry Cleaners worth it?”. But if we were to ask the same question to the developers of such registry cleaners, we will get some pretty good replies. They did create registry cleaners fully tested to optimize Windows 7 and to fix any errors it will find. Those people know pretty well Windows and how it works. This website registry cleaner reviews has very good reviews about registry cleaners while this one online virus removal is a great online service dedicated to repair any problems on your computer.

The question “Are Windows 7 Registry Cleaners worth it ?” is still pending and not answered. Before we have to know that Windows 7 will use the System Registry the same way it did with Vista (or XP). I mean that registry cleaners for Windows 7 are not the same than those for Vista (or XP). Given that Windows still use the registry as an important component of its OS so the same problems do appear over time.

Even if the Windows registry has no problems, you can use a program like a registry cleaner to change the configuration of Windows. Its great and nice interface make it a great tool for that purpose unlike the one coming with Windows. You can change the settings of your Windows 7 by changing the values from the registry, but without a registry cleaner, using only the registry editor of Windows 7, you can make the wrong settings and your computer will stop working.

Now we can answer to “Are Windows 7 Registry Cleaners worth it, or not” ? You’re right if you thought that they are worth it: like the ones we did use for Windows Vista or XP, the registry cleaners for Windows 7 are worth our money.

The Microsoft Windows registry is a complex directory which stores your computer’s hardware and software settings and user preferences. When working properly, these settings enable your computer to function smoothly in order to give you a positive user experience. In essence, the registry is the central nervous system of your computer’s operations. Every time anything happens on your PC, it is recorded in the registry.

Sometimes the registry gets cluttered and loaded down with redundant directories and unwanted and unneeded instructions, and may need to be cleaned with a registry cleaner. A registry cleaner scans the registry of your system and finds broken files, links, and any other details that are not needed or used by the PC. These may even be damaging entries that take up disk space and slow down your registry’s operations. In this context, a registry cleaner should be used to scan your PC every few months, depending on how often you use your system.

There is a range of different types of registry cleaner available to buy, and each one operates differently. You may need to look at the choice of registry cleaners that are available to choose the one you think will help you most. Equally, it is advisable to seek guidance to find out what is the best registry cleaner for your computer’s set up.

There are many sites that review the top registry cleaners available, and these make your decision very much easier. The best registry cleaners will give you the chance to make backups of your registry before making any changes. Some of the top registry cleaners are RegCure, Registry Easy, Registry Smart, Registry Fix, and Error Nuker.

Installing a registry cleaner is very easy and safe, and the guidelines on how to use them are very simple to follow. Once launched, each scan will take approximately five minutes and will then display the information the cleaner believes is redundant and not needed, giving you the option to erase it. Once carried out, your PC should run smoother and operate more efficiently.

by Hiel Strassman

Though there are many people who don’t yet believe registry corruption is an issue in Windows XP and Vista, the truth of the matter is registry corruption is a mortal enemy to these operating system. It can cause many problems for these operating systems and the persons who use the computers they are installed on.

A registry consists of a huge number of files and folders. Within these files and folders are pieces of code that show or point to the next place a command will find the information it is looking for. Of course, each operating system’s command will require several, maybe even millions of these pointers to find all it needs to carry out its mission.

Registry Corruption Causes Slowdowns

When pointers from no longer needed software still exist in the registry, they point to files an operation doesn’t need or worse yet, they point to a file that is no longer in the registry. This means an operation will be sent out looking for something that is useless for its completion. So, all an unneeded pointer does is waste time. These types of pointers are a form of registry corruption.

In the new, very large operating systems, one false pointer can lead the operating system hunting for a long time before it discovers the hunt will bear no fruit. Multiply this type of useless operation by thousands, maybe even millions and you will have an idea of the effect registry corruption has on your computer’s speed.

Registry corruption can make a computer slow down so badly it can no longer be used. Of course, this would take a substantial amount of corruption, but it can and often does happen. Registry corruption can also cause the computer to crash and be error prone. Even the blue screen failure has often been the result of corruption in the registry.

Registry Corruption and Viruses/Spyware Cause Similar Problems

Registry corruption may make a computer behave in a similar fashion to the way a computer operates when it is infected with spyware or a virus. Like registry corruption, spyware and viruses can also make a computer slow down and be error prone. However, where registry corruption makes the computer preform unnecessary operations, spyware and viruses steal the computer’s resources.

If all, or a high percentage of your computer’s resources are being used spyware and viruses, your computer won’t be able to perform any task, even an easy one like connect to a Web site. The way to check to see how many resources are being used is to press ctrl-alt-del, which will open up your task manager in Windows XP. If you have Vista, you will have choose “open task manager after you press ctrl-alt-del.

Even if spyware was using 80 percent of your computers resources and your computer needed to do an operation, such as connect to a web site which would require 40 percent of your CPU’s strength, your computer would react by slowing down very noticeably.

To summarize, spyware and/or viruses will make your computer slow and prone to errors and crashes. However, a corrupted registry will make a computer act in the same way.

It is not a matter of whether cleaning spyware and viruses is more or less important than scanning for and cleaning registry corruption. Doing both these things are of utmost importance for keeping your PC fast and error free. Yes, it is too bad we have to use registry cleaners and spyware/virus cleaners so we can keep are computers running well, but the fact is; we do have to.

Registry repair is an essential Windows maintenance process because all software, hardware, and user preference information is stored within your registry. Data in your registry is stored in a tree-like, hierarchal structure made up of keys, subkeys and their values.

You need to perform registry repair when the registry gets filled up with loads of unwanted keys and values that clutter it and cause registry bloating. A bloated registry gets easily damaged and creates many errors on your PC.

Registry repair is essential in the following contexts:

You need to regularly perform registry repair if you frequently install and uninstall programs from your system.

Registry repair is crucial if an incorrect method is used to uninstall one or more pieces of software from your PC.

If a virus or some spyware is located on your PC, carry out registry repair to weed out any infected entries from it.

You must carry out registry repair if your PC crashes, in order to repair any corrupt entries caused as a result of the crash.

It is wise to carry out registry repair after you remove faulty software, a faulty device or device driver from your PC because faulty software and hardware can cause damage to your registry.

A registry repair method for beginners

Windows computers are equipped with the Registry Editor (regedit) utility that enables users to perform a certain level of registry repair. However, this utility is not simple to use and any user error can cause severe problems with your system.

This is the reason why most of the industry experts recommend the use of reliable and efficient registry repair and cleaner tools. There are many registry repair tools available on the Web, and you can search for and download a registry repair program that meets your needs from the Internet. Some of the essential features that you must look for in your registry repair tool are:

The registry repair tool you choose must be compatible with your Windows operating system.

The registry repair program should utilise intelligent scanning techniques to report genuine errors as problems.

The registry repair tool should report errors based on their severity level for better understanding.

The registry repair tool must offer features such as registry backup and registry defrag.

If your registry repair software includes optional features like a Start-up Manager, Temporary files manager and BHO manager, it is an extra advantage.

It is advisable that you first download and utilise the trial version of the registry repair software you want to try out, and then purchase it only when you are satisfied with how it works.

How to use a registry repair tool

Scan and repair is the most essential task performed by a registry repair tool. However, before starting scan and registry repair, use your tool to backup the registry. A registry repair program will carry this out automatically before repairing your registry. If your registry repair tool does not automatically back up the registry, perform a manual backup using the backup and repair option of your registry repair tool.

Next, use the scan facility to scan your registry. After the scan is complete, all errors will be displayed on the screen. Most of the good registry repair tools enable you to automatically repair the detected errors. This facility is ideal for newbies who are not well-versed with the registry. Experienced users can go through all the errors found, and carry out registry repair on only those errors selected.

When looking for a way to improve the performance of your PC, don’t overlook the importance of a good registry cleaner. This tool is a must for getting a slowing computer back up to speed as well as preventing errors and crashes. Seeing that a registry cleaner is such a great thing to have around makes me really confused as to why some people advise against using one!

In this article, I will argue in favor of registry cleaners and show how I use them to overcome registry corruption. This registry corruption will slow a computer’s operating capabilities and possibly make a PC not only very slow and error prone, but sometimes inoperable.

Windows Registries Corrupt Easily

It is true there are some registry cleaners available that are not very good, but usually these are free cleaners and like with anything else, you get what you pay for. Still, cleaning a computer’s registry with the right registry cleaner can get a computer that is slow and crashing on occasion back up and running at 100% speed and error free once again.

Though spyware and viruses are often the problem when a computer starts to act up, I’ve seen many cases where it was registry corruption that was the culprit. So, when registry corruption is the problem, what else can you do except clean it out?

New OS’s Need To Be Corruption Free

It is true, registry corruption wasn’t very much of a consideration a few years back. However, now with the huge file systems Windows XP and Vista operate under, it takes a long times for one operation to take place when it has to work through corruption. I know this may not make sense, but one piece of corruption will probably only affect a small area of a small operating system. However, the same amount of corruption will affect many areas in a large operating system. That is just the way it is.

Without cleaning corruption out of a PC, it will become slower and slower. In time, it will commit errors and eventually the “blue screen of death becomes inevitable!

Registry Cleaners Are a Good Thing

I’d like to know what anybody who doesn’t use registry cleaners does when they run into problems with their computers that are caused by registry corruption, because I’ve seen a good registry cleaner solve problems with poorly functioning computers 100′s of times!

In any event, the first thing I do when I encounter a slow computer is make sure there is no spyware or viruses present. Then, once I know the PC is free of these things and it still does not perform normally, a registry scan is the next logical step.

Of course, if there is no registry corruption, you will have to bring the computer to a professional. However, I have fixed many a sick computer with a registry cleaning, so I suggest you make sure you have no corruption before you bring your computer to before you bring it to the repair shop.

by Ed Lathrop

I read an article on a website recently which stated registry cleaners were of no use and people shouldn’t waste their time or money on them. This author said he could not change his mind about this without seeing some convincing data.

In this article, I would like to make it clear registry cleaners are an important tool that should be used periodically as a regular part of computer upkeep. I will also make the case corruption in the registry will greatly diminish a computer’s speed and overall performance.

I have no technical data to serve up as this is boring and unconvincing. I am a computer technician, the data I have is the feedback from my customers who were elated a registry cleaner was all their ailing computer needed.

Actual Field Experience

I know a registry cleaner has the potential to get a sick computer back on its feet. The way I know is I’ve actually seen it happen many, many times. I know from experience what registry corruption can do to a computer and have many satisfied customers because of the great work of a top notch registry cleaner.

The plain and simple fact is, registries do become corrupted and when they do, the computer’s performance suffers, maybe even to the point of uselessness. The best way to deal with this problem is to use a good registry cleaner.

Windows XP and Vista develop registry corruption routinely. This corruption is not the result of misuse. It occurs from normal use and if it is not taken care of it will slow down your computer, sometimes to a crawl! There are many other maladies a corrupt registry will cause. Amongst these maladies are computer errors and crashes.

In the Real World of Computers

I work on computers for a living. Would I recommend registry cleaners for no reason? Would I tell a good customer of mine to use one and then have him or her come back to me to tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about. Sure, if I was stupid! The truth is, I want to keep my good customers happy and I certainly, I do my best not to lead them astray.

Don’t pay any attention to those who are demeaning the use of registry cleaners. They obviously haven’t run into the same situations I have. Probably, they have never repaired a home computer in their lives!

There is no harm that can be done by getting a registry scan on your computer. All the good ones offer a free scan. So, if you find no corruption, you’re done. If you do find corruption and your computer isn’t performing well, cleaning the registry will no doubt help cure your problem. If it doesn’t, they have money back guarantees. So the way I see it, you can’t go wrong using registry cleaners. They are an irreplaceable asset for your computer’s health.

I will use this article to make a case in favor of registry cleaners because I know their use is important in fighting off registry corruption. Also, I will talk about just what registry corruption can do to an operating system and how it can hinder normal computer operations.

Windows Registries Corrupt Easily

Registry corruption exists and registry cleaners fix this corruption. I know this because I make a living repairing broken computers and I have seen corruption bring a computer to its knees. I have used registry cleaners many times to remove corruption and get these badly performing computers back up and speeding down the information highway again.

I seen more cases than I can count where a computer started to crash frequently or become very slow and when this happened it was caused by corruption in the registry. When this happens, there is no other viable plan of action other than to uses a registry cleaner so this computer will once again operate normally.

Things Have Changed

It is true, registry corruption wasn’t very much of a consideration a few years back. However, now with the huge file systems Windows XP and Vista operate under, it takes a long times for one operation to take place when it has to work through corruption. I know this may not make sense, but one piece of corruption will probably only affect a small area of a small operating system. However, the same amount of corruption will affect many ares in a large operating system. That is just the way it is.

As corruption builds up in the registry the computer’s speed will suffer, errors will become frequent and the blue screen of death often will occur. Being a computer technician myself, many customers have brought me their computers because they had slowed to the point they could not be used.

Registry Cleaners Are a Good Thing

So what do you do when your computer is hardly functioning and you find you have corruption in the registry? Should you ignore it because some say registry cleaners are unnecessary? Not in my book! When a computer registry becomes corrupt, the only thing to do is scan it with a good registry cleaner. This, to me is common sense!

So, when your computer starts performing poorly, the first thing to do is use a spyware and/or virus scanner. These two programs do about the same thing. If you find problems there, clean them out. If that puts your computer back on its feet, great! If not, get a free registry scan with a reputable registry cleaner.

From my experience, I know once you clean a corrupt registry with a good registry cleaner, the computer starts to perform better than it has in a while. I have had many happy customers remark after their computer’s registry was cleaned, that they hadn’t seen their computer perform so well in a long time.
