You should probably avoid any new laptop deal you see that is under $300.   Those laptops will usually be out of date, will not be able to run some of the latest software and will be difficult to find parts for.But deals can still be made on laptops. If you are careful with your shopping you should be able to find a laptop just right for you and within your budget.

Picking a laptop is a little like choosing a car – does it fit into your lifestyle and fulfill your needs? Think carefully about your needs for a laptop before you go out looking for laptop deals.    If you are a college student, you definitely need fast Internet access and the ability to use word processing programs to write papers. If you are a business man then you will have different requirements for your laptop, especially if you do alot of graphic prensentations.

How big of a screen do you need? Big screens arent absolutely necessary, but if your showing presentations with charts and graphics then it will be a plus. If the laptop is available with a zoom function then this will benefit someone with poor eyesite.

Does your laptop computer need alot of accessories?A laptop peripheral is simply an accessory that you can get for your computer such as a printer, or webcam. Just make sure that your laptop will accomadate any accessories you choose.

The are many promises used in laptop deals.  “DVD player included” is one – but this is a standard feature on most laptops. A cd writer will come with most laptops.Moreover the laptop weight sometimes will determine the cost. A lighter laptop may run slightly more expensive the heavier models. A good laptop deal can be found if you dont mind getting one that is heavier and more bulky.
